Lenny Grimaldi Testifies Against Senator Bradley

When Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim was indicted by the Feds for political corruption 25 years ago, it was his chief of staff Lenny Grimaldi who cooperated with the Feds and testified against Ganim, describing how they used taxpayer money to fund their lavish lifestyle: expensive wine, cigars, clothing, and trips to fancy restaurants in NYC. Lenny was Donald Trump’s Michael Cohen, whom Trump referred to as a “rat.” Except Trump didn’t do a day in Federal prison. Joe Ganim did about ten years in Federal prison. Lenny did about six months as a reward for his cooperation, and spent some time in the Otisville kosher lockup with New York Jewish criminals. Lenny wrote about his experience locked up with Jewish inmates munching on matzo balls, kugel, gefilte fish, and other delicacies that were provided to Jewish inmates in Otisville at the time. The Feds booked me a two year vacation at Otisville about ten years ago. Nothing has changed at Otisville since I was there, except that the perks are not the same as they used to be for Jewish inmates. The heavy hitters all got released, ie., Herman Jacobowitz, Sholom Rubashkin, Sholom Weiss, Jon Braun, and others, who were probably paying off the guards to keep things kosher and quiet in Otisville. These big name big money criminals were eventually able to pay lobbyists who somehow were able to convince President Trump to get early releases, commutations, and pardons. Any Jew left behind in Otisville today is treated like treif meat by the redneck guards. No matzoh ball soup for you!

Lenny has been writing about the City of Bridgeport for years and has a website, Only In Bridgeport. Lenny was subpoenaed to testify in court by the DOJ to help them convict Dennis Bradley. Grimaldi only testified for about an hour. After he testified he wrote an article about his courtroom experience on his website. The lawyer for Bradley read the article and was infuriated. Grimaldi’s article was not very flattering to Dennis or his lawyer Darnell Crosland. Grimaldi wrote: “Attorney Crosland was all over the place, seemed ill-prepared, did not have a grasp for facts and just made up stuff and falsely conflated a testy text exchange I had with Bradley in January 2021 as a future threat to Bradley’s liberty. Not at all the situation.” Crosland filed a motion to require the jury to see the entire text exchange between Grimaldi and Bradley, rather than the portions shown to the jury by the government, and to tell the jury to avoid media coverage of the case. I’m not sure if the entire text exchange would help Bradley, it is peppered with F bombs all over the place. You can read it below. Good luck with trying to tell jurors not to google the case on their cell phones. At one point Grimaldi apologized to Bradley in the text messages for talking trash, Grimaldi said he didn’t take his “meds.” What kind of “meds” is Grimaldi taking??

Attorney Crosland also filed a motion to acquit Bradley after the DOJ rested their case. Its not clear if Bradley will take the witness stand tomorrow in his own defense. In the motion to acquit Crosland summarized the testimony of everyone the DOJ called to testified about the “campaign announcement” night at the now closed dive bar Dolphin Cafe that was advertised as a “law firm party night” for the law firm that Bradley worked for. If the law firm party night was paid for by Bradley’s personal funds and was really a campaign announcement in disguise, it would have disqualified Bradley from getting matching funds. Give me a break! Is this a technical violation that should be treated as a civil matter, or does it need a full blown Federal investigation?

The Feds just have to prove Bradley’s personal funds, around $5-10K, were used to fund a campaign announcement that was disguised as a “BRADLEY, KARAYIANNIS & DENKOVICH law firm” party night. Bradley is no longer part of that firm. The law firm party night at the now closed dive bar the Dolphin cafe in the dangerous East End of Bridgeport, invited many members of the CT bar. Bridgeport attorney Johanna Ramirez Haddad testified at the trial that she was the Master of Ceremonies. Master of Ceremonies? The only ceremony was listening to Bradley ramble on about how he was going to save the City of Bridgeport, followed by loud thumping music and dancing. I wonder if Haddad is related to disbarred Bridgeport personal injury attorney Joseph Haddad who did four years in a four million dollar ambulance chasing scheme with chiropractor Mark Kirshner, who were locked up with me in Otisville. Johanna Haddad is also a personal injury attorney, who claims she settled multi million dollar cases on the website of the law firm where she works, the Ventura Law Firm. Everyone in this law firm speaks either Spanish or Portuguese. It was founded by a Portuguese guy named Americo Ventura. I never heard of this guy. According to the website, Americo, “opened a law firm not to chase power, but to restore dignity. Not to collect cases, but to change lives.” Give me a break.

Attorneys Michael Denkovich and Peter Karayiannis were at the party and testified during the trial. They were never charged with a crime. If you are going to charge Bradley with a Federal crime why not charge his law partners who threw the “law firm” party?

Chinedu Ogbenta testified that he was a client of Attorney Karayiannis and was invited to the “law firm” party. A few years ago a guy named Chinedu Ogbenta was busted for snorting cocaine in the bathroom at Geronimos restaurant in Fairfield. Restaurant employees chased him out of the restaurant and called the cops. They described him as wearing a pink tank top. The cops spotted him in the parking lot at 55 Degrees restaurant, in the pink tank top, snorting cocaine in his car. The pink tank top gave him away. For all you aspiring criminals out there, never commit a crime wearing a pink tank top.

The Bradley campaign party disguised as a Bradley Denkovich Karayiannis law firm party was attended by lawyers, misfits and druggies such as Ogbenta, and Jessica Martinez, Bradleys campaign volunteer, pleaded guilty to her role in the Bradley crime and was locked up for testing positive multiple times for cocaine. She finally checked herself into an in patient drug treatment center. Tina Manus, another one of Bradley’s indicted cronies was also at the party. A few years back she angered the political bosses when she posted on Facebook the following words to describe politicos Themis Klarides and Laura Dancho: “The State House Hooker is here! Oh goody!” Welcome to Bridgeport politics. Legal experts say that democracy is in an unhealthy state in America. I would argue that the drug epidemic has destroyed democracy and there is turning back. I predict that some day America will be ruled by a dictator who will construct drug distribution centers on every corner.

This is all I have to say about this stupid trial. I am not impressed. Politics is dirty business, impossible to regulate let alone police. Locking up drug addicts, misfits and their freaky lawyers will not deter future drug addicts, misfits and their lawyers from going into politics. In the words of Lenny Grimaldi: “Some towns play political softball, other towns play hardball … in Bridgeport they play hand grenades.” Hand grenades? Did you take your meds this morning Lenny? These people are too stupid and stoned to know how to pull the pin out of the grenade.

Good luck to you Mr. Bradley, you are going to need A LOT of mazel. If you end up in Otisville, please reach out to me, I will give you a tutorial on how best to avoid trouble from white collar Jewish gang members. They can make your life a living gehenom, noodging you to trade their kosher food for your slice of treif pizza, or meds you get on the public pill line. In Otisville the guys who take meds must line up, the wall of shame, to receive their pills from the PA or APRN. They are supposed to watch you put the pill in your mouth but they aren’t always paying attention and could care less about inmates. I remember one guy named Danny Greenberg who got so mad at the guy in front of him taking too long in the pill line he almost whacked him with his tennis racquet. FUHGETABOUTIT!!!

LATEST UPDATE: 3/27/26: Mr. Bradley declined to take the witness stand in his own defense. Prosecution rested. Defense rested. Jury to be charged. This guy don’t stand a chance if he doesn’t testify, unless you have a wild card on the jury, which is always possible.

Chinedu Ogbenta testified that he was invited to the political party by his attorney Peter Karayiannis, Not sure if this mugshot is a picture of Chinedu Ogbenta who testified, but how many guys do you know who are named Chinedu Ogbenta?

The Feds must have a lot of time on their hands to go into the East End of Bridgeport to take down this motley crew. Aren’t there bigger fish in politics to take down than these minnows at the Dolphin Cafe on the East Side?
