“The Jew Lawyer” In New Haven CT Wants Your business

Attorney Mark Neuhauser runs advertisements in both Spanish and English in New Haven and New York. Mark has a billboard with the slogan “El Abogado Judio,” ie., “The Jew Lawyer.” Mark has two websites, one in English and one in Spanish. The Spanish website says he is the “Jew Lawyer” while the English website says he is the Neuhauser Law Firm. Mark didn’t graduate from an Ivy League law school, but he looks smart.
Mark has about 40 people working in his law firm. He posted pictures of them on his website. Most are young and somewhat attractive. I wonder if Mark would hire an old grumpy man like myself. Some of his staff are Jewish, and some are goyim. Some are Hasidic Jews with side curls. Some are cleanly shaven secular Jews. There are plenty of Jews to choose from. Its not clear from the website whether these Jewish lawyers support peace in the Middle East. Clients may want to know this information if they are going to shell out their hard earned shekels to pay a “Jew lawyer.”
The Jew Lawyer law firm handles immigration law, personal injury, collections, debtor rights, and other general practice areas. Everything except for criminal defense, which ironically is where the phrase “Jew lawyer” originated. Rappers boast about the benefits of having a “Jew lawyer” defending them in their criminal cases. Drake in “Comeback Season” raps: “I got a Jewish lawyer as my lead defender / A menschkeit as they say he’s a legal bender.” Jay-Z in “No Hook” raps: “My Jewish lawyer too enjoyed the fruit of letting my cash stack.” Cardi B in “Bickenhead” raps: “Lawyer is a Jew, he gon’ chew up all the charges.”
Attorney Yona Gregory is a “Jewess lawyer.” She handles evictions out of New London. She also serves on the ethical reviewing panel for attorneys. She recently shot down my bunkie from Otisville, denying an elderly Jewish zaidy, ie., grandfather, readmission, after he applied no less than two times. He was shot down twice in hearings that focused on a 40 year old grievance that was filed against him. What do expect from an attorney who evicts people from their apartments? Heartless! This is the argument I made in my appellate brief regarding my Otisville bunkie Jerry: The “present fitness” standard has been distorted by Connecticut disciplinary authorities beyond recognition, transformed into an open-ended scrutiny of decades-old matters, often prolonged through years of costly legal proceedings, reflecting a lack of compassion and unduly punitive treatment of members of the bar who have long since paid their debt to society. See OCDC v. Jerry Gruenbaum, No. CV15-6082913-S (During his second unsuccessful attempt at readmission, the applicant was questioned by Mr. Staines about a grievance dating back approximately four decades. As noted in dissent (Daniel J. Horgan): “The applicant had a few minor complaints levied by clients in the late 1980’s when he was a young and inexperienced lawyer. Since then and up until 2015, he has had a clean record consisting of no grievances or malpractice claims filed. We can show some faith in the power of redemption by reinstating 70-year-old Jerry Gruenbaum’s license to practice law. ‘Second chances are not given to make things right, but to prove that we can be better even after we fall.’”
Ms. Gregory is currently presiding over the readmission application of Corey Brinson, an African-American attorney and former U.S. Air Force National Guard member raised by a widowed mother in the impoverished North End of Hartford and former associate at Day, Berry & Howard and Epstein Becker & Green in Washington, D.C., who obtained an advanced law degree, ie., L.L.M. during the pendency of his reinstatement proceedings and works as a pardon advocate serving the African-American community. Brinson was denied readmission no less than 3 times over the past five years, while corporate attorney Guy McDonough, a white guy with three DUIs was quickly readmitted with the condition that he attend AA meetings. Hopefully Ms. Gregory has more compassion for a Black man than a Jewish grandfather.
